These tools have been largely re-written from the earlier v1.3 tools. Much of the functionality is similar, but there are some significant enhancements. Currently, this version of the tools is not yet complete (My wife's just had a son, and I've been somewhat busy with domestic matters!). Those that are here are fairly stable, but be aware that they haven't been extensively tested.
Note that the extensions require BBEdit version 3.5, and may not function with earlier versions. Those of you who have been poking around with Applescript will notice that some of the extensions are scriptable - all of them will be in due course.
If you have been using earlier versions of the tools, you may want to remove them before installing this version. Be sure to drag the extensions -and- folders that you will find herein into your extensions folder. BBEdit 3.5 has the ability to suport hierarchical menus, which is why some of the extensions are contained within folders.
A brief overview of some of what's new...
o Check Markup has been enhanced, has a new DTD (which is more Mozilla
friendly).
o Custom Markup now allows commonly used macros to be saved as standalone
extensions which you can then place in BBEdit's extensions folder.
o Breaks tool now includes support for HTML-3 attributes, and new Mozilla
tags.
o New tool for working with font size.
o New entities tool.
o Tabulate tool for creating <PRE>-type tables.
o The Table tool herein doesn't yet have the 'convert' routine installed.
This will allow you to convert existing data into a table.
